Here at JL Tree, we implement a 'safety first' system. Sean Lewett, our newly Certified Tree Care Safety Professional has implemented TCIA's Tailgait safety program. Two times a month, Sean meets with the everyone who works in the field to hold safety meetings guided by the Tailgate safety program.
According to Sean: "Safety needs to be priority here at JL Tree Service. With the dangerous nature of tree work, and the high rate of injury and even death, we take safety very seriously."

Local Teenager killed from working to close to high tension lines
JL Tree Service does not work within 15 feet of high tension power lines. If a tree needs to be removed that is within 15 feet, a professional tree company will advise a customer to call the local power company to cut the tree back beyond 15 feet, then the tree company can take down the rest of the tree onces its safe.
